You Can Fly
How often do we decide what we can achieve before we have even tried? We look at the people around us, compare ourselves with those who seem more successful and quietly decide that some things are for other people. They are more talented. More confident. More intelligent. More fortunate. And so we stay where we are.
“You can fly” is a reminder that the limits we place on ourselves are not always real. You don't have to believe that wishing will make something happen. You don't have to sit back and wait for the universe to deliver the life you want. You have to start by questioning the thought that tells you you can't.
Maybe you don't know how yet. Maybe you haven't learned the necessary skills. Maybe you have failed before. None of those things proves that you are incapable of succeeding. They are information, not a verdict.
Think about a child learning to walk. They fall repeatedly. Nobody looks at them and says, “Well, walking clearly isn't for you.” We understand that falling is part of learning.
Yet as adults, we often treat our own mistakes as evidence that we should stop trying. You are not broken. You may have spent years believing that certain doors were closed to you. But a closed door is not the same thing as an impossible future.
So lift your eyes beyond what you believe is possible today. Learn. Try. Fail. Try again. And when that voice tells you that you can't, ask it a better question: “How do I find out?”
Because sometimes the greatest limitation in your life isn't what you cannot do. It is what you have never allowed yourself to try.
