Positive Things Will Happen Now
It is almost ridiculously simple. Positive things will happen now. No complicated theory. No long list of things you need to understand before you can begin. Just six words that ask you to change the way you look at what comes next.
We spend an enormous amount of time expecting things to go wrong. We worry about the meeting before we attend it. We imagine the rejection before we make the application. We decide that the conversation will be difficult before we have had it. We look at tomorrow through everything that went wrong yesterday. And then we wonder why we feel negative about the future.
What would happen if we changed the starting point? Positive things will happen now. That doesn't mean pretending that nothing can go wrong. It doesn't mean sitting back and waiting for the Universe to deliver everything you want. And it certainly doesn't mean that repeating six words will magically transform your life.
It means choosing a different expectation. It means entering the next conversation believing that something good could come from it. Taking the next opportunity with an open mind. Looking for possibilities instead of automatically searching for problems.
Because expectations influence behaviour. When you expect failure, you may hesitate. When you expect disappointment, you may protect yourself. But when you expect something positive, you become more willing to participate in creating it.
You are not broken. You don't need to wait for your life to change before you allow yourself to think differently.
Start now. Expect something good. Look for it. Work towards it. And when something positive happens, recognise it.
Because sometimes changing your life begins with something as uncomplicated as deciding that the next thing that happens doesn't have to be another problem. It could be something wonderful.
